SRT srl is committed to changing the hanger production sector through eco-friendly practices and materials to create a better future in the fashion industry. The heart of our production is the use of 100% recycled plastic and another new biodegradable material.
This choice allows us to reduce the use of virgin natural resources and reduce plastic waste.

Plastic that doesn’t weigh on the environment:

For our products, we only use recycled plastic. Furthermore, upon request, SRT produces hangers with 50 to 100% biodegradable plastic: a way to reiterate its sensitivity towards the issues.

Discarded and immediately recycled.

To confirm our commitment to the environment, we recycle our hangers that do not comply with the desired quality standards.
The process of grinding the discarded items takes place first with the collection and cleaning of any contaminants, then by feeding a shredding machine which reduces the hangers first into small flakes and subsequently into a fine granule ready to be reintroduced into the production process.

A clean revolution.

The real “green” revolution, with investments of over €1,400,000, are the two photovoltaic systems installed in the two SRT factories, one in via del Lavoro, 5 in Valdagno (VI) with a nominal power of 363 kWp peak and an energy production estimated at 370,000 Kwh/year, the other located in via Zona Industriale, 18 also in Valdagno (VI) and provides a nominal power of 100 Kwp peak and an annual electricity production estimated at 110,000 Kwh.

This increasingly “green” orientation of the SRT avoids the release into the atmosphere of approximately 200 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year and the energy produced by the 2 plants covers approximately 25% of the annual electricity needs of the agency.
All this demonstrates the property’s environmental sensitivity. And to confirm this, the attention paid to the internal systems and the various production processes should also be underlined: modern and optimized for maximum efficiency and minimum energy use.
